WEDDINGS!

Well, so unfortunate it is not my turn, but.... hey, so here's the story...

Gue buka path trs tetiba di timeline buanyak banget yang nikah di beberapa minggu ini.. temen kuliah gue, temen SMA gue, kakaknya temen gue, temennya kakak gue (wait, what?) wkwk and ou-la-la they're spreading lots of love to this small world ♡♡♡ *lempar2 kelopak bunga* wkwk

And for some reason, after thinking and envying and galau-ing zzz about all these weddings while wondering when is my turn and... (wait. No baper time, Gin -___-), I was reminded by my friend's words telling me "Muharram is near, so people tends to have a wedding before that month comes. Because some people believe it is forbidden to have a wedding in Muharram". And I was like.... is there any rule about it?

So, I did some kind of a fast research on the internet, seeking for an answer from trusted sources and I found out that :
1) The basic principle is : "Every things are permissible, unless there is a report to suggest otherwise."
According to what I found : There is nothing in Qur'an and Sunnah, or ijma' ulama, to indicate that it is not allowed to get married in the month of Muharram, so our ruling should be based to our basic principle just like what I have mentioned before.
2) The ones who married in Muharram have a good example because some historians said 'Ali bin Abi Thalib married Fathimah Azzahra (may Allah be pleased with them) at the beginning of 3 Hijriah.

So, in other words it is okay to get married in Muharram. Well, now you just have to find the person you want to be married to (which is the important and the vital one) wkwkwk

GOOD NIGHT!
